Real World by Matchbox 20
From the LP 'yourself or someone like you'
Tabbed by Luke Hayward (luke@l.hayward.clara.net)
I just got this album today (11/5/98) so i don't know much about them.
Only, that this is the only song not on the OLGA that I've worked out. So
here it is. I thought I almost had the solo for a minute (it's not hard), but
everytime I played it, it sounded different each time. I dunno. Work it out
yaself!
Intro riff

A# F G F A# F G F
I wonder what it's like to be the rainmaker
A# F G F A# F G F
I wonder what it's like to know I made the rain
A# G A#
I'd store it in boxes with little yellow tags on everyone
G [intro riff]
And you can come and see them when I'm...done, when I'm done
(as first verse)
I wonder what it's like to be a super hero
I wonder where I'd go if I could fly around downtown
From some other planet, I get this funky high on yellow sun
Boy I bet my friends will all be...stunned, they're stunned
A# C F
Straight up, what did you hope to learn about here
A# C F
If I were someone else, would this all fall apart
A# C F
Strange, where were you, when we started this gig,
A# C F
I wish the real world, would just stop hassling me
[intro riff]
(second guitar repeats a tone on the 13th fret on the high E)
(as first verse)
I wonder what it's like to be the head honcho
I wonder what I'd do if they all did just what I said
I'd shout out an order, I think we're out of this man get me some
Boy don't make me wanna change my...tone, my tone
(chorus)
C G A# A#
Please don't change, please don't break
C G A# A#
The only thing that seems to work at all is you
C G A# A# [intro riff]
Please don't change, at all from me
[intro riff]
to you, and you to me
(chorus)
That's pretty much it.
Sorry it's a bit lame.
