About a Girl (Unplugged) Guitar Tablature
This is a lovely song - in fact my favourite nirvana song - and i still havent found a tab for it that is quite right yet so i thought id try. I think this is mostly correct, but note that I tabbed this from listening to the NIRVANA UNPLUGGED IN NEW YORK album. I havn't heard the Bleach version so this may be slightly different.

First of all, on the unplugged album, the guitars are tuned down a semi-tone for some reason which means the tuning will look like this: D#    (E)

Although these are the notes that the guitar will be playing, I will still write them as E A D G B E because it's just easier.

Intro - play Em, G FOUR times. After the third time you play them, the drums come in, then after the fourth, the bass comes in. After that you play Em, G another FOUR times before starting the verse.

I know these next chords are wrong but it fits in nicely. (where there is nothing written on a string, that means you don't play that string on that chord. Other people put an 'x' but I think that makes it harder to read for the less experienced people)

NOTES

In the verses, try not to just play the chords straight like they're written. Try to 
elaborate a bit. You will see what I mean when listening to the song. Put an emphasis on beats 2 and 4. The Em chord should be played so that you strum it once then play the top E string then the B string like this:

In the solo, the bit which is played four times is played very stacato (short, sharp notes). Play it so that when you play a note, you quickly release your finger from the fretboard to mute it again. Like I said before, listen to the song whilst reading this. You will get the gist of what I'm trying to say!
