What should HamieNET do next?

We have very limited time on what we can expand on this website. Please let us know what is more important to you so we can spend our time on that area. Expand the functions of MIDI to MP3 converter Allow individuals to choose which instrument or sound font to use for each MIDI track conversion. Continue the development on the MIDI to sheet music engine Our sheet music function has been in alpha stage for many years, mainly because not much people have request improvment on the function. Improve the melody search engine The engine is basically functional but it is still not easy for an average user to utilize its function. And its melody database is out of date. User-run submission system We can change the current submission system into the YouTube-like system, which the users can submit anything but it will be up to HamieNET users to flag down inappropriate items.

Ensemble songs?

Hi all I'm a teacher of an advanced musical theatre group. Every year we perform a lot of ensemble numbers for the last 13 years. But i'm running out of inspiration for nice songs that we could perform! So if you guys got any ideas for nice ensemble songs that we could perform (may also be duets, trios etc, at least 2 voices or up) that would really be of a lot of help. We like to perform more rare songs from all kinds of musicals (so please no standerd suggestions like songs from mamma mia, hair, snf etc). I hope you will provide a lot of inspiration for me... (and it would be helpfull if there exist sheet music to buy from the song you suggest). thnx in advance Marc

Singing tips - vibrato

Hey there, I've been getting singing lessons for about a year and a half now, and I'm happy with how my voice is developing in strength and range, but I have no vibrato. I hate the way I sing sustained notes, because my voice does nothing except just hold the note, nothing else. Does anyone know any tips to get a vibrato in my voice? Thanks

Good Villian songs.....?? I need a song for my show

I need a good villain song that is not very plot specific as it will be included in a variety show. I am having a hard time comming up with ideas. The easier to sing the better as this is a childrens show..... any suggestions? someone mentioned poor unfortunate sould and good n bad from jekyll....

West Side Story Audition Song?

I'm auditioning for Maria in West Side Story and I'm looking for a song to sing at the audition (also monologues if you know of any). Any suggestions? I'm a first soprano with a fairly big range.

First Time!

I am going to audition for a musical for the first time , and the audition song has to be between 45 and 90 seconds long. Any suggestions? Also, is it better to have a live accompaniment, pre-recorded music, or sing acapella? I really don't know anything about this!
