Hi everyone. I'm new to the board and have a midi question to ask.

I would like to change the midi channels from midi files(i.e. from 1 to 3).

I have a Yamaha keyboard and the keyboard lights shows up when I load a midi file. However, the keyboard will light up ONLY if the midi is playing at channel 3 and 4.

Any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You need to use one of the MIDI sequencing software to do this. I know Sonar, for example, gives you the option to specify the channel for each track.
