Unable to Burn midi files converted to wav files

I have successfully converted several midi files into wav files and downloaded them into my WMP library. I then proceeded to attempt to burn them onto a CD...it just says "Cannot Synchronize" can someone tell me what I am doing wrong, Thanks!

Have you tried to burn the MP3 versions instead?
