Can someone please completely explain the options that can be changed within the MIDI to MP3 Converter? I get most of it (the transposing, tempo, bitrate and others) but I'm not completely sure how they affect the output MP3. Especially Anti-Alias. Can someone explain?

Anti-aliasing is the technique of minimizing the distortion artifacts known as aliasing when representing a high-resolution signal at a lower resolution. (Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-aliasing )
If you are not using about what the option will do, try to convert the same MIDI with different settings. Sometimes, you may not notice the difference -- then the option does basically nothing. |
